Dear Members and Friends:

The FCA Rose Garden Picnic is THIS WEDNESDAY!

Wednesday, June 10, 6-8pm, FCA Annual Picnic, just outside the Kelleher Rose Garden (Back Bay Fens). Come and enjoy the spectacular show at the Kelleher Rose Garden, kept open late for this party! Enjoy live music, picnic with friends, with refreshments provided by our local business partners!

We still need a few volunteers, won’t you help? It’s fun, fast, and helps keep these events going strong ~ show your civic spirit and email us at: fenwaycivic@aol.com to let us know. Give a little or a lot of time, we’re there before for set-up and after for clean-up. Thanks, it takes good friends to make a great community!!

A few words of THANKS…

THANKS TO THE ISD, Boston’s Inspectional Services Department for the recent Rodent Walk through the East Fens. ISD is working hard to eradicate vermin, and did a community walk to see where problems exist and to better inform the BRAP (City of Boston Launches Boston Rodent Action Plan). We’re working on a West Fens walk soon.

ISD “walks the walk” in the East Fens with community members to make a better informed BRAP

And THANKS to the Mission Hill Fenway Neighborhood Trust for the administration and granting of the 2026 funding round, supporting FCA by funding musician fees for the 2026 FCA Picnic, this year’s Tree Lighting chorus, and new equipment we’ll be using for upcoming movie nights! (More to come, stay tuned.)

See you around!
