Sunset Concerts at Symphony Park

When: July 7, 14, 21, 28, 6-7 p.m. (fair weather only)

Where: Symphony Community Park, 39 Edgerly Road, Boston 02115

What: Sunset Concerts at Symphony Park feature Berklee musicians in one of Boston’s most charming outdoor spaces, located between Berklee College of Music and Symphony Hall. This annual series is brought to you by Berklee College of Music, Fenway Civic Association, Friends of Symphony Park, and the City of Boston. (View Map(Opens in a new window))

New Edgerly Plaza Activations

When: June 24th 3-6 p.m., July 5th 6-8 p.m. (rain date July 12th)

Where: New Edgerly Plaza, 15 Westland Avenue, o2115

What: Join artists Ilana Katz Katz and Itay Dayan for the first of the “Imagining the Plaza” activations at New Edgerly Plaza. With the support of the City of Boston, artists bring creativity and music to this new open plaza. For more information, see below. This program made possible by the City of Boston Impact Grant and support from the Streets Cabinet and Fenway Alliance.

 

Fenway Civic Association Picnic!

When: June 10th, 2026 6-8 p.m. (rain date June 11th)

Where: Outside the Kelleher Rose Garden, Across from 77 Park Drive, Back Bay Fens

What: All are invited to the Fenway Civic Association’s picnic, Wednesday June 10th from 6-8 p.m. outside the Kelleher Rose Garden. We’re hoping the weather cooperates and have a great evening in store with Bluegrass/Americana music, food thanks to Samuels & Associates, beverages, and support from from Suffolk Construction. Come hear from your neighborhood representatives and enjoy a stroll in the Kelleher Rose Garden. For more details, see below or write to fenwaycivic@aol.com. This event is free and all are welcome! Special thanks to the Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Boston Mounted Rangers for helping make this event possible.

Tai Chi at Symphony Park

When: Wednesdays 9:30 a.m., May 6, 13, 20, 27, June 3, 10, 17, 24

Where: Symphony Community Park, 39 Edgerly Road

What: All are invited to join this gentle tai chi class, taught by Sifu Huan Zhang. Participants will learn the first 13 movements of yang-style tai chi and practice breathing, balance, and stretching. In event of inclement weather, classes will be held indoors at 100 Norway Street.

Chair Yoga at Symphony Park
When: Thursdays at 10 a.m., Symphony Community Park, 39 Edgerly Road
What: Join this free class offered by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s Summer in the City series. Participants will practice mostly seated yoga, taught by Michelle Coleman. Registration encouraged but not required at: https://www.boston.gov/calendar/parks-fitness-chair-yoga-michelle
Kitchen Kit Giveaways at New Edgerly Plaza
When: Tuesdays 3-6 p.m. May 19 and 26, June 2
What:  With support from the City of Boston’s Impact Grant, FCA is providing FREE kitchen scrap collection kits to help Fenway residents use the Project Oscar Food Waste bins at New Edgerly Plaza (15 Westland Avenue, 02115).
