Harry Ellis Dickson Park Restoration
FCA continues to coordinate care for this Department of Public Works-owned pocket park, located at the corner of Edgerly Road and Westland Avenue. FCA embarked on initial restoration with support of grant funding and area businesses and community groups, and provides ongoing care with the help of local partners. In 2017, FCA was awarded grant funding from a BPDA community benefits award to replace two trash receptacles, designed to prevent dumping of household waste.
FCA engages professional care for the more than 50 roses planted in this park and works to perform repairs and upgrades as needed. Support for Dickson Park relies on ongoing generosity of its neighbors, especially the trash removal and watering performed by Boyd Smith, Inc.
