We will meet at 7:30 a.m., rain or shine at the Peace Bell, located behind the Kelleher Rose Garden across from the Museum of Fine Arts footbridge, for a morning of birding, led by naturalist Stephen Baird of the Friends of Jamaica Pond.

Bring your binoculars and a friend! This walk is open to everyone, and will take place rain or shine.

Northeastern Breakfast Club Neighborhood Clean-Up & Celebration

Partners: Mission Hill Community Garden, Mission Main Streets, and Fenway Civic Association

Hello Residents and Neighbors,

Please join fellow residents and neighbors and Northeastern student volunteers for our annual clean-up event in Mission Hill and Fenway on April 8! We would love to have you volunteer alongside student volunteers to beautify areas that have been designated by local community organizations. The clean-ups will include spring activities such as raking, weeding, leaf pickup, painting, etc.

The Breakfast Club is a clean-up program lead by Northeastern students on 16 Sundays during the academic year, picking up trash along the streets of Mission Hill and Fenway neighborhoods. So far this year: 543 students have volunteered and collected 135 bags of trash!

Please join the effort in this end-of-year event! Sign-up here and we will contact you will more details about the day. The clean-up will be for two hours, then from 12-1/1:30 we will be hosting a celebration at the Mission Bar and Grill with food and some honorary thank-you prizes for some well-deserving residents and students.Please come after volunteering to eat, mingle and get to know fellow neighbors!

We are excited to announce that we are planning an event coordinated by FCA, Fenway Community Development Corporation, and the Fenway Alliance – a first ever Fenway Porchfest!

Fenway Porchfest will be a community wide, 4 hour event on June 16th that brings music and the arts to the Fenway. By promoting local spaces and local artists, we hope to connect neighbors and showcase the creativity of our residents.

Please join us on March 22nd from 6-8 p.m. at the Fenway Community Center, located at 1282 Boylston Street.
