Join Fenway Cares at 3:30 p.m. at Fenway Community Center (West) and Symphony Community Park (East) for fresh veggies, fruits, grains, and more.Delivery and volunteer sign ups at bit.ly/FenwayCaresFood Volunteers are needed this week! 3. Save the Date! Ride the #55 on September 26th @ 2:30 p.m.Come join your neighbors to advocate for your local bus! Up to 30 advocates will ride the #55 at 2:30 p.m. – masks required Meet at the corner of Jersey and Queensberry Street to rally or ride. Can’t join but want to advocate? 2. Wednesday, September 1st, 3:30 p.m. – Fenway Cares: Need food or know someone who does? Want to volunteer for a great cause?Fenway Cares will be distributing free produce and grains in the East and West Fenway on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.Please see below for more information or visit bit.ly/FenwayCaresFood

3. Friday, September 3rd, 9-11:30 a.m.: Northeastern University Neighborhood Tree Mulching Event Interested in participating in a neighborhood clean up and helping your urban canopy? Join FCA and Northeastern University Alliance of Civically Engaged Students (ACES) for an East Fenway tree mulching session!Volunteers will meet at the corner of Westland Avenue and Hemenway Street; mulch, gloves, and tools will be provided. 8/23 Monday 6-8 p.m – Virtual Public zoom meeting re development

Impact Advisory Group (IAG) for the proposed project at 220 Huntington Avenue. This meeting will focus on proposed mitigation as well as the pocket park at 1 Cumberland Street. The meeting will begin with a 30-minute presentation by the development team, followed by a 45-min discussion of the IAG, followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the public. 8/26 6 PM – Virtual Public meeting re bus transportation Better Bus Project open house (on Zoom) on Thursday, August 26th, at 6pm. This will be an opportunity for riders to learn about all initiatives within the Better Bus Project. 8/27-8/29 – Berklee Students move-in dates.

The Department of Public Works will be performing pavement repairs over the next three Saturdays along Boylston Street in the West Fenway as part of a bike lane project.

-Only a judge can formally evict you from your home.
-If you live in Massachusetts and are being evicted for non-payment of rent, you cannot be evicted if you have a pending rental assistance application.
-If you need legal assistance, Greater Boston Legal Services can provide FREE legal services. Call (617) 603-1807 or email housinghelp@gbls.org

Massachusetts residents can call 211 to get answers to any urgent questions and resources are available in multiple languages. If you live in Boston, the Office of Housing Stability can connect you with financial relief application assistance and connect with legal help. I wanted to inform you of an upcoming public meeting hosted by the MBTA to discuss the recent service changes, including the #55 bus. I encourage you to attend and sign up to testify.
