3. Friday, September 3rd, 9-11:30 a.m.: Northeastern University Neighborhood Tree Mulching Event Interested in participating in a neighborhood clean up and helping your urban canopy? Join FCA and Northeastern University Alliance of Civically Engaged Students (ACES) for an East Fenway tree mulching session!Volunteers will meet at the corner of Westland Avenue and Hemenway Street; mulch, gloves, and tools will be provided. 8/23 Monday 6-8 p.m – Virtual Public zoom meeting re development
Impact Advisory Group (IAG) for the proposed project at 220 Huntington Avenue. This meeting will focus on proposed mitigation as well as the pocket park at 1 Cumberland Street. The meeting will begin with a 30-minute presentation by the development team, followed by a 45-min discussion of the IAG, followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the public. 8/26 6 PM – Virtual Public meeting re bus transportation Better Bus Project open house (on Zoom) on Thursday, August 26th, at 6pm. This will be an opportunity for riders to learn about all initiatives within the Better Bus Project. The Department of Public Works will be performing pavement repairs over the next three Saturdays along Boylston Street in the West Fenway as part of a bike lane project.
