Dear Members and Friends:
We’re thrilled to report that work is underway on the Back Bay Fens Pathways Construction Project. The FCA has been deeply invested in improving this area. About eight years ago, FCA members appealed to Parks Commissioner Ryan Wood and the City Council to find capital funds to repair the crumbling pathways in the Back Bay Fens. The response was positive, and over the years the improvement plan grew in funding and design scope. The result of FCA’s early work and the City’s investment in our heavily used park is now finally underway. We are grateful for the partnership and support from Parks and the consistent involvement of our FCA Parks Committee members. For the full project scope, check the city’s website: Back Bay Fens Pathways Improvements | Boston.gov or for specific project: October Update
