DEVELOPMENT – BPDA DISCUSSION
BPDA DISCUSSIONS
The City of Boston Ordinance creating the City of Boston Planning Department is being put up for a vote this Wednesday, 3/27, by the City Council. Closely related, the Home Rule Petition will soon be heard in the Statehouse. It was over 60 years ago that Planning functions were taken out of the City to form the BRA, to focus on urban blight. Questions now center on the structure and oversight of a new Department.
BPDA ACTIVE PROJECTS
Currently, there are 5 projects in the Fenway “Under Review”: Fenway Corners (West) ,Boston University – Warren Towers Renovation, 409 Huntington Avenue, 2 Charlesgate West, 142-146 St. Mary’s Street
