1. Conservation Work Starts AUG 29 at John Boyle O’Reilly monument
The City has supported Fenway Civic Association’s efforts to conserve and repair the statue through a $40,500 grant with work commencing this week. We’re grateful to the Boston Art Commission for their support for this important work.

5. Monday, Aug. 29 – Public hearing on cannabis dispensary zoning – 6-7:30PM
http://www.bostonplans.org/news-calendar/calendar/2022/08/29/cannabis-amendment-meeting the City of Boston has recommended amending the Zoning Code to treat Cannabis Establishments in the same way that retail uses are treated, allowed in commercial and business sub-districts but remain Forbidden in residential sub-districts. Public comments will be accepted on the proposed amendments until Friday, September 9, 2022 and may be submitted via email to BPDArpz@Boston.gov.
