This week – Fenway Civic Association Annual Picnic!

June 14, 2022 by fenwaycivic

Dear Members and Friends,

We have several announcements, but first, what is better than a summer picnic?

We hope you will all join us this Tuesday evening for Fenway Civic Association’s Annual Rose Garden Picnic!

The roses are in bloom and the weather should be great! We will have food, refreshments, and live music.

Come meet your neighbors, hear from your elected officials, and enjoy a stroll through the roses. This event is free and everyone is welcome. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors: Samuels&Associates, Star Market, Berklee College of Music, and Suffolk Construction.

 2. Wednesday, June 15th, 9:30 a.m. – Free Tai Chi at Symphony Park, 39 Edgerly Road

Come join neighbors for an introduction to Tai Chi at Symphony Park, taught by Sifu Huan Zhang. This 8-session class will focus on the first 13 moves of tai chi, and include warm up breathing and balance exercises. Thanks to Fenway Health and the Healthy Habits program at Fenway Community Development Corporation for making this series possible.

Fair weather only.

3. Wednesday, June 15th 6:00 p.m. – Bus Network Redesign Fenway Meeting on the #55 Bus

Please join Fenway Civic and the #55 Bus Coalition for this important meeting to review proposed changes to the #55 Bus. Changes will have large impacts for our bus service, and the Bus Network Redesign staff are receptive to YOUR input. Please take the time to join this meeting and share your ideas for the future of your bus!
