The week ahead – more concerts and civic engagement

July 20, 2021 by fenwaycivic

Dear Members and Friends,

Public meetings continue for local development and so do Save the #55 bus rallies, along with free concerts, fitness, and food sharing. It’s been a busy summer – we appreciate everyone staying involved!
Please see the below announcements for the upcoming week:

1. Monday, July 19th, 6-8 p.m. Fenway Project Virtual Public Meeting: A massive development proposal is under review that would dramatically affect streets around Fenway Park, changing Jersey Street, Van Ness Street, and connecting Brookline Ave and Richard Ross Way. In total, the project totals 13 parcels of land over 5 acres, and contemplates over 2 million square feet of new development, as much as the last 15 years of West Fenway development projects combined. The comment deadline for the Project Notification Form is July 23rd. We strongly encourage all residents to participate in the process. To register for the meeting, read the project notification form, and submit comments, visit: http://www.bostonplans.org/projects/development-projects/fenway-project or email Aisling Kerr at Aisling.Kerr@boston.gov.
