This afternoon, Governor Baker made further announcements about COVID-19 vaccine roll-out in Massachusetts, including an update to Phase 1 eligibility, and the start of Phase 2 on February 1st, which will include workers in several critical roles such as K12 education, sanitation and public works, and transit/transportation.
Eligible vaccine recipients can begin scheduling appointments at Fenway Park on Thursday, January 28th ahead of the ballpark’s February 1st opening by visiting cic-health.com/vaccines.
As I mentioned Friday, capacity will start at 500 vaccinations per day, eventually increasing to 1,000+ per day. Please refer to www.mass.gov/covid-19-vaccine for all Massachusetts-related vaccine information including anticipated timeline.
