Winter Fitness and Upcoming Events

Dear FCA Members and Friends:

Happy 2020! We have several announcements for January.

1. Boston Parks Winter Fitness Series – Symphony Park/Morville House
The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Boston Public Health Commission announce their Boston Parks Winter Fitness Series, sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Join in 11 free classes across the city from January through to May 1st , including Chair Yoga at Morville House, 100 Norway Street!

Chair Yoga will be held Thursday mornings from January 9th through April 30th.
Classes start at 10 a.m. inside Morville House, 100 Norway Street in the East Fenway.
Come and bring a friend!

2. MLK Winter Luncheon January 15th / January 20th activities – Fenway Community Center
Celebrate Dr. King’s birthday with the play “Struggle for Freedom: The Life of Dr. King” presented by Bright Star Touring Theatre, followed by a hot meal.

3. Kaji Aso Studio Art Exhibition – Sprites & Spirits, Opening Reception, January 18, 7-9 p.m.
Visit the studio, located at 40 St. Stephen Street in the East Fenway, for a free evening featuring art, poetry, and music!

4. Museum of Fine Arts, Boston – MLK Day Celebration – January 20th 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by surrounding yourself with art, culture, and community.
Free attendance to the Museum of Fine Arts Boston includes, performances, tours, art-making activities, and more.

5. Fenway Center Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting – January 21st 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Fenway Community Center, 1282 Boylston Street
A CAC public meeting will be held to discuss a Notice of Project Change and PDA Amendment t o the Fenway Center/Parcel 7 Air Rights Project.
