Fenway Civic Invites You to Our First Quarterly Public Meeting

March 15, 2017 by fenwaycivic

As we mentioned at our annual meeting, this year the Fenway Civic Association is renewing our focus on member engagement. We would like both to enhance our connection with our members and to strengthen the voice of our neighborhood in decision making at the city and state level. This year we’re hosting a series of quarterly public meetings, to which all our members are invited. We welcome you to join us to learn about the day-to-day work of the board in shaping our neighborhood’s development, preserving our parks and open spaces, and addressing needs for infrastructure and other city services.

The topic of the spring meeting will be Neighborhood Engagement.

Please join us to learn how you can get involved with FCA’s newly formed committees on Event Planning, Licensing, and Parks and Open Space. We’ll give you an overview of FCA’s role in each of these spheres and you can sign up to be a part of the team.

Looking for other simple ways to improve your neighborhood? The meeting will also feature a presentation from John Laadt, the City’s Director of 311, on using the City’s 311 app to connect with Constituent Services to fix things in your neighborhood.
