Two exciting events are happening at Symphony Park on Tuesday, June 23rd!
Symphony Park Grand Opening: June 23rd at 1:00 p.m.:
Come join the Boston Parks Department and the Friends of Symphony Park in celebrating the reopening of Symphony Community Park, located at Edgerly Road between Burbank and Norway Streets. Musical entertainment, courtesy of Berklee College of Music and light refreshments from Whole Foods Symphony and the Friends will be provided. Come help us celebrate – all are welcome to this free event!  See the linked invitation for more information.
 
Summer Fitness Series at Symphony Park: June 23rd – August  13*:
The Friends of Symphony Park, supported by the Boston Parks Department and Boston Public Health Commission, will be offering 2 free classes at Symphony Park this summer.
Tai Chi: 8 consecutive Tuesdays, starting June 23rd from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
This class is geared for beginners, with breathing, balance, and tai chi taught by Huan Zhang of Huan’s Tai Chi.
Senior Yoga: 8 consecutive Thursdays, starting June 25th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
This class is geared for seniors, with all ages welcome. Mats provided.
Please see the linked Brochure for more information, and other class events and locations. In event of rain, classes will be held indoors at Morville House.
*Note: Fitness classes at Symphony Park will end on August 13th, not the 18th as listed in the brochure

Fenway Civic Association hosts its annual Rose Garden Picnic
