COVID booster news: Sept. 4: Governor Healy announced that CVS and Walgreens will begin scheduling and administering the COVID booster to eligible Massachusetts residents starting Friday, September 5. Berklee opened their newest facility in the West Fens last week at 1249 Boylston Street (former CVS site), after an extensive renovation. The 41,000-square-foot building features dedicated spaces for Berklee’s academic institutes, nine general-use classrooms, and five state-of-the-art dance studios.
Sentencing News on Ex-city councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson: On Friday, September 5th, US District Judge Indira Talwani sentenced Anderson to one month in prison on federal corruption charges. She ordered Fernandes Anderson to self-report to an as-yet-to-be designated federal prison on Oct. 17. She also ordered her to pay $13,000 in restitution.
MBTA Green Line D Branch service will be suspended between Riverside and Kenmore for nine days, September 3 – 11. Free and accessible Express and Local shuttle bus services will replace trains between Riverside and Kenmore.Visit the website for info on system-wide notices. Tuesday, September 9, 6:00 PM, The Fenway Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIC)– virtual and in-person in the Steve Heck Room on the 1st Floor of 1140 Boylston Street. (NIC) is an all volunteer group of Fenway Neighborhood residents, organizations and businesses, facilitated by Berklee College of Music, with the goal of encouraging shared stewardship of the Fenway Neighborhood.
Please RSVP here if you intend to join either in person or virtually. In addition to community updates, Berklee President Jim Lucchese, who joined the institution as its 5th president in January, will join to share a few thoughts and meet neighbors. Refreshments will also be served.

Fenway Cares Food Distribution at 2 locations:
West Fenway – Fenway Community Center, 1282 Boylston (enter-Jersey)

Volunteers are welcome to sign up for all dates and both locations!
The MGH/MBG Community Care Health Clinic will now rotate locations between the West Fenway and East Fenway locations from 1-5 p.m. on Fenway Cares dates. Upcoming schedule: Fenway Community Center on 9/10 and Morville House, 100 Norway Street on 9/24. Offerings may include blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, COVID-19 and flu vaccines.

The online FPCNC SURVEY collects comments after each concert. The areas of concern are, traffic, noise levels, park impacts, trash management, etc. Reports are meant to inform the City and the Red Sox of any issues.
