No Fenway development meetings this week, so with a lot of heaviness elsewhere, you can enjoy a light week at the city.
Our big announcement is that runner Chelsea Lauder is running the 129th Boston Marathon to raise funds for Fenway Cares. Please read the below message and support Chelsea’s race today!

Fenway Cares is an all-volunteer collaborative, working to provide free food to neighbors through bi-weekly distributions of fresh produce. Collaborative members are: Audubon Circle Neighborhood Association, Fenway Culture Boston, Fenway Civic Association, Fenway Community Center, Fenway Community Development Corporation, and Operation P.E.A.C.E.

Tuesday, March 11, 6:00 PM, ​​Making History Gala, Fairmont Copley Plaza, Boston. The year 2025 marks the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. The Mass Historical Society is kicking off the celebration with a gala in March. Learn more at www.masshist.org/gala.

FENWAY CARES

Every Other Wednesday, 3:30 p.m.until done, Fenway Cares Food Distribution 

Next date: 2/26 – at 2 locations:

West Fenway – Fenway Community Center, 1282 Boylston (enter-Jersey)

East Fenway – Symphony Community Park, 39 Edgerly Road

Food Distributions

Volunteers are welcome to sign up for all dates and both locations!  Volunteer

MGH/MBG Community Care Health Clinic – 1-5 p.m. on Fenway Cares dates, East Fenway, in Morville House, 100 Norway Street. Offerings may include blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, COVID-19, flu, and pneumonia vaccines.

Councilor Fernandes Anderson – UPDATE

In December, Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson was arrested on federal public corruption charges, pleaded not-guilty and was due in court on Jan. 29, however, this court date was pushed out to March 5.
