Dear Members and Friends:

We are writing with a few cancellations and information about the rapidly evolving coronavirus disease 2019/COVID-19 situation in the city.

1. Symphony Park Chair Yoga Pop-Up party and Thursday classes:
To minimize exposure risk, chair yoga classes at Morville House, including the Pop-Up event on March 19th will be canceled until further notice.

2. Love, Fenway gala at Fenway Community Center:
The FCCs annual gala is being postponed to a later date, and several changes to the center’s schedule have been made.

3. Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19):
We hope members will stay informed about developments with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The City’s website will be updated regularly at: https://www.boston.gov/news/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19-boston, and contains a number of resources, fact sheets, and other information.
We encourage residents and members to follow guidance provided by the city and state.

March 7th: The Future of the Hynes listening Session, 2:30 – 4:30 p.m., Boston Public Library Copley Branch, Rabb Hall
The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority has proposed to sell the Hynes auditorium on Boylston Street for redevelopment. This sale requires legislative approval and the Baker Administration has filed legislation that would grant the approval. State Senator Will Brownsberger and State Representatives Jay Livingstone and Jon Santiago are holding a listening session to determine whether and under what conditions they should support the requested approval, taking account of how you envision the future of the Hynes and its role within the Back Bay neighborhood. Please come and offer your thoughts.

March 8th: Tea Ceremony in the Gallery, 4:00 -5:00 p.m. Kaji Aso Studio, 40 St. Stephen Street, 02115
Experience tea ceremony at Kaji Aso Studio in remembrance of studio founder Kaji Aso. Suggested donations ($10) will support the Kaji Aso Memorial Fund. To rsvp, write administrator@kajiasostudio.com or call 617-237-1719.

March 19th, Winter Fitness Series: Chair Yoga Pop-Up Party, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Morville House, 100 Norway Street, 02115
Join the Boston Parks Department and residents to celebrate the Winter Fitness Series and Chair Yoga at Symphony Park. Refreshments and giveaways will be featured.
