1. Air Rights Parcel 12 Public Meeting
Date: Tuesday, June 25th, 6:00 -7:30 p.m.
Location: Sheraton Boston Hotel, Independence Ballroom, 39 Dalton Street
Details: Public meeting to discuss the Draft Project Impact Report for this mixed use Air Rights Project and proposed Planned Development Area Plan. Comments are due by July 22nd.

2. Kenmore Hotel Impact Advisory Group Meeting
Date: Thursday, June 27th, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Kenmore Classroom Building, 565 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Room 106
Details: Public meeting, focused on the Impact Advisory Group for the Kenmore Square Hotel project.

3. 12-28 Lansdowne Street/Fenway Theater Public Meeting
Date: Monday, July 1, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Location: Dell EMC Club, Fenway Park, 20 Jersey Street

4. 1241 Boylston Street Public Meeting
Date: Tuesday, July 2, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Kaji Aso Studio – Tanabata Festival
Date: Saturday, July 6th, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Location: Kaji Aso Studio, 40 St. Stephen Street
Details: Celebrate Japan’s Tanabata festival with a free reception, exhibit, and poetry reading. This event is free and open to the public; donations gratefully accepted.

Sunset Concerts at Symphony Park, starting July 9th
Dates: July 9, 16, 23, and 30, 5:30 p.m.
Location: Symphony Park, 39 Edgerly Road
Details: Join neighbors and friends for free concerts at Symphony Park. All concerts are free and open to the public. Sunset Concerts are a partnership of Berklee College of Music, Boston Parks and Recreation, Fenway Civic, and the Friends of Symphony Park. Fenway Garden Society Open Gardens
Date: Saturday, July 13th 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Swingin’ in Ramler Park
Date: Wednesday, July 24th, 6:30 p.m.
Location: Ramler Park, 130 Peterborough Street
Details: Mark your calendars for this annual event at award-winning Ramler Park in the West Fenway. Free concert featuring Marianne Solivan and friends. Swingin’ in Ramler Park is part of the city’s ParkArts program, and a partnership of Berklee College of Music, Boston Parks and Recreation, and Fenway Civic Association. Swingin’ in Ramler Park

When: July 24, 6:30 p.m. (rain date, August 14)
Where: Ramler Park, 130 Peterborough Street, 02215
What: Join Fenway Civic, Boston Parks and Recreation and Berklee College of Music for this annual tradition of free music at Ramler Park, featuring Marianne Solivan. Solivan and her band will perform original music from her most recent CD, Spark, as well as songs from the Great American Songbook and a few Latin songs.

The Proponent proposes to construct a new, 27-story, approximately 389-room hotel surrounded by a new, approximately half-acre public plaza. The Project also includes the demolition of the existing building at 560-574 Commonwealth Avenue, and shifting the building site east, amid the new public plaza.

Free, age-strong fitness classes start next week at Symphony Park, located at 39 Edgerly Road in the Fenway.
Join your neighbors for these classes, sponsored by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Boston Public Health Commission, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, with support from the Mission Hill Fenway Neighborhood Trust. All classes take place in the park at 10:00 a.m.; in event of rain, classes will be held at 100 Norway Street:
Chair Yoga: Tuesdays, June 4 – September 24
Tai Chi: Thursdays, June 6 – July 25th

Apologies for this late notice. Please see the following announcement from the Boston Red Sox regarding their community meeting on Tuesday, June 4th:
Red Sox Neighborhood Meeting – Tuesday, June 4
We would like to invite you to a Neighborhood Meeting at Fenway Park on Tuesday, June 4 at the Champions Club.  Please enter the Champions Club via the door located on Ipswich Street near Gate B. We will have security located outside checking in attendees.

As with our previous meetings over the years, we will provide updates on our events and operations, and offer you the chance to ask questions and provide any feedback and suggestions that you have. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m, with the meeting running from 6:30 p.m – 7:30 p.m.

The meeting is open to all, and food and beverages will be served.  If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Claire at cdurant@redsox.com.

DCR Traffic Advisory: Fenway, Boylston Street, and Park Drive
WHAT:          Starting Saturday, June 1, 2019, and continuing through Thursday, June 20, 2019, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will close Fenway from Boylston Street to Forsyth Way and from Brookline Avenue to Louis Prang Street, Park Drive from Brookline Avenue to Kilmarnock Street, and Boylston Street from Ipswich Street West to Ipswich Street East in the City of Boston from 7:00PM to 5:00AM to accommodate milling, paving, roadway improvement work, and the placement of temporary lane markings. On street parking will be prohibited during work hours. Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and a police detail will be on site.
                       Additionally, in July 2019, the agency will conduct permanent lane marking work, which will include new crosswalks and bicycle lanes along Fenway from Brookline Avenue to Louis Prang Street and Park Drive from Brookline Avenue to Kilmarnock Street.
WHERE:       Fenway from Boylston Street to Forsythe Way and from Brookline Avenue to Louis Prang Street, Park Drive from Brookline Avenue to Kilmarnock Street, and Boylston Street from Ipswich Street West to Ipswich Street East in the City of Boston
