Harry Ellis Dickson Park Restoration
FCA worked with Fenway Alliance and Boyd Smith to restore Harry Ellis Dickson Park. The Alliance received $2,000 in 2012 from The Mission Hill Fenway Neighborhood Trust for replacement of a park bench and plant maintenance. This grant builds upon the work FCA has done in the past, raising funds for restoration and maintenance from area businesses and community groups. The Browne Fund contributed important work in restoring granite facings, installing decorative skate stoppers, replacing brickwork and cleaning the sculpture, which has added to the beauty of the restored park. FCA hopes to maintain these plantings by funding the next 5 years of maintenance, but needs your support and welcomes additional donation inquiries.
